About Ballito TV

Ballito TV was born from “The Vuvuzela” an initiative started as Covid-19 hit our shores in April 2020 where the now directors of Ballito TV together with a small group of like-minded Ballito community members with a common goal set out to assist small businesses, organizations, and families within the community. The team, all small business owners themselves filmed over 150 short videos over 8 months sharing these on all social media platforms to gain exposure, create awareness, and assist with sales during that incredibly difficult time. Many of those businesses filmed continue to receive inquiries daily from the work this team did.
Morne Lane, Mandy Rootman & Devon Swanepoel officially launched Ballito TV on the 1st of February 2021 with a small team, all passionate about continuing the journey started in 2020. The streaming channel showcases content-rich local programming that appeals not only to the local community but to a wider audience including international viewers. Since its inception, the channel has attracted over 500 000 viewers worldwide. Viewers can select their preferred device and way in which to watch Ballito TV, either live on the channels Facebook page, website, YouTube Channel, or by downloading the App for free off the Play Store. Best of all, if you missed one of the shows, catch up at your convenience by visiting the “CatchUp” platform on the website or App. Ballito TV offers a variety of affordable advertising packages to suit every budget, so the misconception that advertising through this medium is out of reach for most businesses is incorrect.
